1. What is Ayurveda and what can I expect from treatments here?

Ayurveda is India’s ancient system of natural healing that balances the body, mind, and spirit. At Ayuskama, treatments are personalized after a doctor’s consultation, combining herbal medicines, therapies, yoga, meditation, and lifestyle guidance for holistic wellness.

2. How do I book a course or therapy session at Ayuskama?

3. What are the fees for courses, treatments, and retreats?

Fees vary depending on the program. Each course, retreat, or treatment package has clear pricing mentioned on its respective page. If you need customized details, please contact us directly.

4. Is the booking (deposit) amount refundable or transferable?

Booking amounts are non-refundable, but they can be adjusted toward any future course, treatment, or retreat at Ayuskama.

5. What happens after I make a deposit? How do I pay the rest?

Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with details. The balance fee is payable upon arrival, either in INR (Indian Rupees) or USD.

6. Do you provide any certificates at the end of the courses?

Yes. Most of our Ayurveda and Yoga courses come with globally valid certificates, including Yoga Alliance (USA) certification for teacher training.

7. Are the teachers and doctors qualified?

Absolutely. Our doctors are qualified Ayurvedic physicians with decades of experience. Our yoga teachers are certified by Yoga Alliance and other recognized institutions.

8. I am a beginner with no prior experience. Can I still join your courses?

Yes. Many of our programs are designed for beginners as well as advanced students. You do not need prior experience to join.

9. What kind of accommodation is available?

We provide clean, safe, and comfortable non-A/C and A/C private rooms with attached bathrooms. Couples and shared occupancy options are also available.

10. What meals are provided?

We serve healthy vegetarian sattvic meals three times a day, along with herbal teas. Meals are freshly prepared to support your detox and healing journey.

11. Can you accommodate special diets (vegan/gluten-free)?

Yes. Please inform us in advance of any dietary restrictions or allergies, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

12. What is the daily schedule like?

Schedules vary depending on the program. Typically, the day starts with yoga, followed by Ayurvedic treatments, meals, meditation, and evening relaxation. You can check the sample schedule on each course/retreat page.

13. How far is Ayuskama from the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (approx. 25 km) from Rishikesh. Taxis are easily available.

14. Do you provide airport pickup/drop-off?

Yes, we can arrange pickup and drop-off at an additional cost. Please share your travel details in advance.

15. What should I pack for my stay?

Bring light, comfortable clothing for yoga, a water bottle, personal toiletries, and any essential medications. Modest clothing is recommended for temple visits.

16. Do you provide internet/WiFi?

Yes, we provide free WiFi access for all guests, although we encourage minimal screen time to enhance your wellness experience.

17. Is Ayuskama safe for women and solo travelers?

Yes, Rishikesh is a spiritual and safe destination, and Ayuskama provides a secure environment for women and solo travelers.

18. What is your cancellation policy?

Deposits are non-refundable, but they can be adjusted toward any future program. Please inform us as early as possible if your plans change.

19. What if I fall sick before or during the program?

Our Ayurvedic doctors will provide immediate support. If needed, your program can be adjusted, or you may shift your booking to a later date.

20. Is there any age limit for joining?

There is no strict age limit. However, participants should be physically fit for yoga practice and able to follow basic instructions.

21. How many people are in a course/class?

We maintain small group sizes (10–15 people) to ensure personalized attention and a supportive learning environment.

22. What is the language of instruction?

Courses are conducted in English, with limited support in Hindi and other languages if requested.

23. How soon should I book to secure my seat?

We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance, as seats are limited and often fill quickly.

24. What treatments do you offer?

We specialize in Ayurveda treatments such as Panchakarma (detox), Shirodhara, Abhyangam massage, Marma therapy, Leech therapy, Cupping therapy, and customized wellness plans.

25. Will there be follow-up guidance after my course or treatment?

Yes. We provide aftercare guidance for diet, lifestyle, and yoga/meditation practices to help you continue your wellness journey at home.
